We are very proud of all of our runners, and love to celebrate some of their amazing achievements. Medals on display include those from London, Manchester, Newport, Brighton and Lake Garda.
Tonight some of our spring marathon runners met after Squirrels and we all shared a celebratory drink with them. Some of them even ran tonight.
Today a scurry of Squirrels have been down to Loros to donate the money raised from the Broughton Astley Dash & Dawdle. Despite the horrendous conditions on the day we managed to raise £800 for Loros. We also donated £150 to Broughton Alive to put back into Community events such as the annual carnival & light switch on.
Well Storm Darragh certainly didn't stop the Santa's coming out this morning for the annual Santa Dash & Dawdle.
This year we had a scurry of squirrels take on Manchester marathon & London marathon raising over £16,000 for various charities.
Throughout 2023, Squirrels have been raising funds for the charity our members voted for - Alfie's Army. As we have now completed our final fundraising activity before moving on to our charity for 2024, we are delighted to announce in total we have raised £1416 through events such as bake-offs and tribute nights.
